LEAP Essential Learning Outcomes (ELOs)

Linking AoL to ELOs

Why did we create this page?

Outreach experiences are an instructional strategy that involves field-based “experiential learning” with community partners. Outreach experiences are an important college outcome since working with community partners is good preparation for citizenship, work, and life. Several UW-Whitewater administrators, faculty, and staff ("collaborators") engage in outreach experiences, but the impact of these activities typically is limited and lacks application beyond those individual instances of engagement. The objective of this shared space is to enhance existing outreach activities at UW-Whitewater by making the results of those activities both useful and easy to apply for collaborators.
